Youth Interaction

Grandview officers often can be seen interacting with Grandview youth at our schools, parades, concerts, and community gatherings. Officers have been seen performing magic tricks for kids, throwing a football back and forth with them, playing video games with them, and even jumping rope with the famous ZZ Skippers.

Police officers carry Jr. Police Officer badge stickers and police activity books with them on patrol to give to youth in the community.

The Grandview Police Department also participates in numerous programs to help build connections with young people in our community.

Some of the programs we participate in include:

Lunch with a Cop
Cops Reading Program
School Resource Officer
Drunk Busters
Police Department Tours/Presentations
