Santa's Helper Program
The Grandview Police Department and employees of the City of Grandview accept donations to help less fortunate families in the Grandview area. In years past the police department had a program called, "Shop with a Cop", which raised donations for needy families. For Christmas 2014 we teamed up with city employees, city council and board members to expand the program and help more families in Grandview.
We identify families in need in the area and provide the families with Christmas gifts.
By making a donation to the Grandview Santa’s Helpers Program, donors fulfill the wishes of deserving children. Donors provide Christmas joy and happiness to children that would otherwise not experience it. Most importantly, donors help them understand that they are important and they are loved.
We know there are many programs at Christmas time that help needy children and families, but this program gives donors the opportunity to make it a better Christmas specifically for a Grandview family.
All the money donated does go to help needy families.
You can make your donation to the program at any time at the Grandview City Hall located at 304 East Criner Street in Grandview. Checks should be made payable to “City of Grandview” and indicate “Santa’s Helper Program” in the note section.
If you have questions about the program please contact Chief David Henley by phone at (817) 866-3399 or by e-mail.
