Identity Theft Information

Identity theft is a serious crime that can happen to anyone. Identity theft occurs when someone uses your personal identifying information, like your name, Social Security number or financial information such as your bank account, credit card or debit card number, without your permission, to commit fraud or other criminal acts.

The Grandview Police Department takes the threat of identity theft very seriously and has created this page to provide citizens with information about the crime, give effective prevention tips, and details how to report an incident of the crime.
