Rachael Lynch was appointed to the Office of City Secretary by the City Council and started on January 11, 2016. Prior to her appointment as City Secretary she was City Administrator/City Secretary for the City of Carmine for almost 6 years.
In 2013 Rachael obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration - Accounting from Walden University and received her Texas Municipal Clerk (TRMC) certification from the University of North Texas. Rachael started her Master’s degree but had to take time off and plans to pursue and complete her Master’s degree in Public Administration – Law and Public Policy.
Rachael was born in Sealy, Texas where she met her husband and they moved and lived in Brenham, Texas for over 15 years before coming to Grandview. She enjoys the small community and spending time with her husband and son.
